![]() I cleared this entire instance solo, but the final part was pretty intense. ![]() Which is the objective right? Too easyĬomment by ThottbotJust killed him solo with my level 33 hunter! Yeah, local SFK quests were not even gray yet. It is safe and you will win everytime no deaths. You don't have to fight his spells he will fight with his staff almost the whole time, inless you are too close to the door when he comes up the steps he can cast through the crack, but no big just fight him there til he teleports then move back behind the door. Just sit there, about 45 sec and he will come running back to you, fight some more then he will teleport to the ledge, just sit and wait somemore, he does this til you kill him. You can fight him without him casting, he will teleport back to the ledge and you can just wait and heal, only a moron would chase him. He will teleport and do his stupid tactics, then come running to you. As soon as you hit him move back behind the door or extremely safe move all the way back to the hallway. Have any ranged attack hit Arugal from the staircase, don't go down the stairs, don't fight from the bottom none of this crap. Kill the 3 Sons of Arugal at the bottom of the floor, so that the only thing left is Arugal.Įveryone go back to the previous room. ![]() 5 to 1 second to still get out of sight after the stun wears off.Ĭomment by ThottbotI have fought Arugal successfully now about 30 times. Additionally, his shadowbolts take long enough to cast that even if you get stunned, you usually have. This way, if he charms the tank, the group has time to run and get out of LoS from Arugal while giving the tank extra time for his charm to wear off. To make this easier, my suggestion would be to keep kiting him up, down, and around the stairs leading into the room if you are having difficulty tanking him, and have the other group members stay at max range towards his spawn. Also, he has an AoE stun that is followed up by a shadowbolt.Īlso of note is that if he polymorph/charms the last person alive, he will reset and drag the charmed player back up to his spawn, where he will fully recover. His melee isn't too terribly hard hitting, but his shadow bolts pack a punch. Just got done duo'ing him with a 24 paladin and 25 warlock, which resulted in multiple deaths, only to be defeated by use of very careful kite/heal tanking and abusing line of sight as much as possible. Ragefire Chasm (Horde)ĭungeons that are labelled either Horde or Alliance have quests available for these particular factions, you can only enter as an opposing faction and you won’t have access to quests associated with these dungeons.Comment by BarrowWhile Arugal has been simplified a bit in 2.3 (he is level 21 now, as Satukie stated), he can still hit quite hard. It is again advised to enter a dungeon when you are at the recommended level instead of the minimum. All classes can DPS but the most effective are Mage, DPS Warrior, Warlock, Rogue, and Hunter. Holy Priest, Restoration Druids, Restoration Shaman and Holy Paladins can heal. A healer resurrects dead players and keeps the party alive. Warriors, Protection Paladins and Feral Druids can tank. Tanks absorb damage and prevent enemies from killing healers and DPS. ![]() It is a good idea to start with one tank, one healer and three DPS. With the right gear and an efficient group, you can breeze through the dungeons quite effectively while collecting loot, gear and other upgrades. ![]()
